Occupational Health & Safety Management System Internal Auditor Training as per ISO 45001
A two-day course to provide an understanding of how to perform an internal audit of an OHSMS.
This course is designed to facilitate the identification of environmental processes within an organisation and to provide an understanding of the benefits of an Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS) audit. It ensures the correct application of accepted audit protocols and teaches the skills necessary to plan and execute internal audits as well as reporting to aid enhanced system performance.

- Facilitating value-added auditing and reporting to aid enhanced system performance.
Prerequisities
Delegates will need a good understanding of ISO 45001 and ideally will have attended the Occupational Health & Safety Management (ISO 45001:2018) Foundation [hyperlink] or Internal Auditor [hyperlink]
Attendees should have prior knowledge of:
- The PDCA cycle.
- Occupational Health and Safety Management.
- Knowledge of the requirements of ISO 45001 and the commonly used OHSMS terms and definitions. These can be gained by attending the Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001:2018) Foundation course.
Audience
This course is aimed at those planning to perform internal audits or preparing to become an external auditor of Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.
Participant evaluation is through continuous assessment during the course and a written exam at the end of the course.
